For the last 2 ½ years I’ve been coaching people to become successful entrepreneurs. I have worked with everyone, from stay at home Mom’s and Dad’s to Corporate Executives, Realtors, Sales People, and students. All of these people understood one secret that rich people know.

I know many of you have heard this before. But if you really want to become financially independent, have you acted on this information? A Little Bit About Myself

My name is Adam Packard. When I was going through college, I had NO IDEA what I would be doing for work, so I picked a career I thought would be fun, and one that I was good at – golf. Yes, I went to school to become a golf professional! After college, I worked at various golf courses and ended up in Denver as a teaching pro. I remember one year I gave over 2500 golf lessons! I had one of those “Ah-ha” moments, where I realized I didn’t want to work at a golf course, I wanted to be a MEMBER at a golf course. I was working long hours, getting paid a low wage, and not getting to play any golf! Not a good combination!

I quickly got burnt out and needed a change. My brother saved me from continuing down the “job” path. He was always reading personal development books, learning, and looking to create additional streams of income. An opportunity came up to work with my brother so I moved to Arizona. My father had always been an entrepreneur, and my brother and I have learned tremendous lessons from him.

About 2 ½ years ago, a new opportunity came into my life. I was not looking for an opportunity, and even when it presented itself, I signed up because I thought the service was so incredible – finally a product that ANYONE could use – it was fun, easy to share, and people loved hearing about it. BUT, there was one problem. I had never been involved in a home based business, and I didn’t really want to be! I was busy trading stocks, options, and futures in the stock market and trying to make money.

However, things started to change. My Dad signed up first, and then my brother, and my brother started to have some early success. I saw what he was doing, and I started to show our system to people – and the results BLEW ME AWAY. I realized that if I didn’t start working this as a business, I would miss the boat and regret it. So, I jumped in with both feet and I haven’t looked back. I replaced my job income in 6 months, doubled it after a year, and it continues to climb every single month.

I had ZERO experience in a home based business, but I was committed and enthusiastic about what we had to offer people. One of the reasons that I was successful from the start was I surrounded myself with the right people. Our sponsor was the top person in the company, and he has now become one of my best friends. He gave us the tools, resources, support, and training that we needed, to be successful. All we had to do was provide the desire and the action. He has and still is one of my mentors.

In the last 2 ½ years, I have become one of the top income earners in the company – I don’t say that to impress you, but to impress upon you the importance of being mentored by someone who knows the business and how to be successful. I also realized that there had to be an easier way to build the business than the way I was building it. I was getting great results, but I was working my tail off! I wanted to come up with a system that anyone could plug into and be successful. I wanted to come up with systems and training that would guarantee results provided the people who used it took action.

Over the last 6 months I have dedicated myself to helping my team members be successful, and the systems I have created do just that.

The thing that I love most about our business model is this – I am not successful unless I help you be successful. I can’t do this business by myself, and neither can you. We have a great TEAM around us, and we ALL work together. You are in business for yourself, but never by yourself. No other business gives you the opportunity to create a truly unlimited residual income, the flexibility to make your own schedule, and create the lifestyle you deserve. Nothing gives me more pleasure than helping a new team member succeed and grow a successful business.

If you were to tell me that I would be working a home based business full time at the age of 28, traveling, speaking at seminars, and making my own schedule, I would have never believed it. I was on the job path and didn’t see a way out. Luckily, I found the right opportunity, and the right people to mentor me. I can’t imagine doing anything else, and I LOVE working with my team. How To Be Successful In A Home Business

What I’m going to share with you now are a few secrets I’ve leaned over the last few years. To be blunt, this is not hypothetical BS. I’m going to give you the cold hard facts on how I have found success. It took me years to uncover these truths, and I hope the information helps move you towards your goals.

GET A MENTOR – You want someone that can share the roadmap and tools they used to be successful. Someone who has a system. (there’s that word again!) Someone who already has the results you are looking for. This has to be someone who is willing to listen to your needs and actually cares about your success.

LOOK FOR GROWING MARKETS – Does the product show value in the marketplace? Would you or someone you know actually use them? Make sure the company is built around the product, not around the compensation plan. You will have a difficult time building and sustaining a business if the product does not stand on it’s own value.

A DUPLICATE-ABLE MARKETING SYSTEM – Make sure ANYONE can duplicate it. Many companies have great products, but if you don’t have a reliable, systematic way to market them, you’ll have a hard time making any real money.

The system should also replace most of the redundant and boring things that cause most people to fail. Marketing systems that are actually proven to work are difficult to find. This is usually the weak link……look closely.

FIND A GROWING COMPANY – Similar to insuring the product marketplace is growing, make sure the company is growing as well. If the company is not being well managed, they could have the best product but actually be losing money. Don’t make the mistake of building a business with a poorly managed company. You risk losing everything you worked so hard to build.

FIND A TEAM WHERE YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO ANY PERSONAL SELLING OR EXPLAINING - Make sure there is a team of people in place to do this for you. This relates to actually having a system in place. If there is no team to support you, there is probably not a system either. I never let any of my new people be without a list of at least 20 people they can call for support and learning.

LEARN TO TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS – If you find the right opportunity and team for you, you will and should be in it for a long time. If you try to make the wrong decision work, you may just end up beating your head against the wall. Many opportunities are cloaked with hype and marketing gibberish. Use your instincts to sort the genuine opportunities from the snake oil salesman!

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT - Personal development expert T. Harv Eker says "Your income can only grow to the extent that you do." If you're tired of not having abundance in your life, if you're dreams are passing you by because of financial struggle, if you really want to create the life you deserve, then it's imperative to start a personal development program.
